Where'd I Go?

The better question would be, “Where’d I grow?”

The answer would be: everywhere.

No stranger to “All or nothing,” I have gained a solid 15 lbs. over two years with the help of this blog. It’d been like repeating freshman year of college: twice.

I’m 5’ 4”, and I’ve reached 137 pounds at my heaviest. You might’ve guessed it from some of the entries below, but last year I started running to get the weight under control. Well, who would’ve thought it, but I actually began to enjoy the exercise, as well as the races that accompanied it. My latest endeavor has been kickboxing.

While I’ve cut back on dining out considerably, I still love food, and have been trying to trim my waistline without too much dieting (I indulge regularly in samosa chat and potato kati rolls from Ambadi in White Plains).

I do plan on continuing with this blog, so please check back occasionally, but if you are interested in what I’ve become most passionate about, please visit my latest endeavor. It’s a 180 degree turn for sure!

  1. I won't miss anything; I long ago put your blog on my "Google Reader" list.

Kickboxing, eh? I'm sure you'll enjoy it for a long time to come. Martial arts is something that, once you really get into it, never entirely leaves your head. This is the one with which I'm obsessed.

There is an awful lot of blogging going on in the martial arts world. You'll find a lot of links in my sidebar, should you be inclined to take a look.

  3. Yeah, I love eating too for sure. I would suggest taking up a kickboxing class. It works just about every part of your body and there's so much to learn, I don't think you'd ever be bored. If you find a good class with a good teacher, it can lead to a life-long love of mixed martial arts (the fastest growing sport in America!). I was so intimidated by the idea of kickboxing at first, but my only regret now is not starting sooner. Good luck!
